  Za pomno pracenje Cularovih slika i crteza,potrebno nam je zapitati se o njihovim ishodistima u temi i tehnici. Na prvim Cularovim crtezima identifikacija motiva jos je citka,ali daljnjim djelovanjem materijala stvarnost postaje sve manje prisutna u njegovim djelima.Zelja za neposrenom vezom sa prirodom javlja se u tijeku mnogobrojnih likovnih kolonija na kojima sudjeluje. Jednostavnost prirode pocinje izrazavati bojom,koja potiskuje crtez,pastelu pastozni namazi uljene boje. Snaznim koloritom izgraduje kompoziciju bogatu kretanjem akcentirano iskricavo zutom bojom punom energije,ali i povremenim smirivanjima. Njegova kromatika zasnovana je osim zute na plavoj i zelenoj boji,ali su njegova djela obogacena i ostalim bojama koje polozene jedna do druge stvaraju snazne kontraste,a svakoj vrijednosti daju pun intenzitet. Ono sto je bilo odlucujuce u formiranju umjetnickog lika Sinise Culara svakako su njegova narav i ideje, ali i prisutnost sredine. Na istrazivackim idejama bogatim osjecajem za ritam Cular svakako ne bi trebao staviti tocku... Ova ga njegova druga samostalna izlozba prikazuje kao izrazitog kolorista,koji snagom izraza ostvaruje uspjesne slikarske kompozicije koje bi trebale predstavljati jednu fazu u izgradnji svog likovnog izrazaja.

LANDSCAPES For the close following of the Cular’s paintings and drawings, it is necessary to question ourselves about their origins in themes and methods. On first Cular’s drawings motive identification is still readable, but in further implementation of materials, reality becomes less and less present in his works. Wish for direct contact with nature comes during participation in many art colonies. Simplicity of nature, he begins to cut with color, which pushes out the drawing, pastel is pushed out with heavy layers of oil paint. With powerful colorit he builds composition rich with movement, accented with sparkling yellow color full with energy, but also with periodical calmness. His chromatic is based except on yellow, on blue and green color, but also his work is richened with other colors that placed one near the other forms the powerful contrast, that gives the full intensity to each value. That what was decisive in forming the artistic character of Sinisa Cular, certainly together with his nature and ideas, but also with the presence of surroundings. With the exploration ideas rich with sense for rhythm Cular certainly should not stop…. This second autonomous exhibition shows him as a distinctive colorist, who with power of expression accomplishes successful painting compositions that should represent one phase in building of his own artistic expression.   Nikolina Ivezic
